Quick verdict
What stands out
Sugar Rush is defined by geography rather than by a collected global meter. A winning cluster marks its occupied cells; later wins touching those cells build local multipliers. In the base round those marks last only through the current tumble sequence, while free spins preserve them for the whole feature. This makes board position meaningful in a way that count-based scatter-pay games are not.
How Sugar Rush works
A win needs at least five matching symbols connected horizontally or vertically on the 7×7 board. Winning symbols disappear and new ones drop into place. Every cell used by a win becomes marked. If another winning symbol lands on a marked cell during the same sequence, that cell gains a multiplier beginning at 2× and doubling with later qualifying hits, up to the published 128× limit.
Features and mechanics
Three to seven scatters award between ten and thirty free spins. In the feature, marked cells and their multipliers persist between spins instead of resetting after one tumble chain. Multipliers from all marked positions involved in a cluster are added to the win. This positional persistence is the main analytical difference between Sugar Rush and other sweet-themed tumble games.
RTP versions and volatility
The approved provider page states the cluster thresholds, scatter awards and 128× position cap but does not publish an RTP value in its public text. SlotReviewHub therefore records the RTP as unavailable and avoids borrowing the value from a sequel or an operator-specific configuration.
RTP is a long-term theoretical value, not a prediction for a session. Slot outcomes are chance-based and cannot be made profitable through a guaranteed strategy.
Strengths
- Persistent grid positions create a coherent spatial mechanic
- Cluster and scatter thresholds are documented by the provider
- The base round previews the feature rules without changing the core system
Limitations
- The number of marked cells can become visually dense
- The approved public page does not state RTP or volatility
- Later 1000 editions use larger multiplier limits and must be kept separate
