Quick verdict

What stands out

Sweet Bonanza became a reference point for count-based tumble games because its base rules require little line arithmetic. The trade-off is that most of its mechanical depth sits inside the feature, where several multiplier bombs may be added together after a tumble chain. The original provider release cites a maximum of 21,175×, while newer games carrying the same brand name have different limits and should not be treated as the same product.

How Sweet Bonanza works

Eight or more matching regular symbols can pay anywhere on the 6×5 board, with larger symbol counts using higher paytable entries. Winning symbols disappear and replacements fall from above, allowing another count to be evaluated in the same paid round. Four to six lollipop scatters start ten free spins and also have their own scatter award. There are no conventional paylines to trace across the board.

Features and mechanics

During free spins, round multiplier symbols may land with values from 2× to 100×. When a tumble sequence ends, the visible multiplier values are added and applied to the corresponding win. Further scatters can add spins. This additive rule is important: several small bombs combine into one multiplier rather than multiplying each other. Feature-purchase availability depends on the version and market.

RTP versions and volatility

The current official game page documents layout, scatter thresholds and multiplier behaviour but does not expose a public RTP value in the approved page text. We therefore leave the numeric RTP unpublished. The maximum-win value comes from the dated 2019 provider release and applies to the original game, not later 1000, Super Scatter or 2500 editions.

Public provider page does not state an RTP valueNot published

RTP is a long-term theoretical value, not a prediction for a session. Slot outcomes are chance-based and cannot be made profitable through a guaranteed strategy.

Strengths

  • Count-based wins make the board readable without a payline map
  • The provider documents multiplier addition and scatter thresholds
  • Original and later franchise editions can be separated cleanly

Limitations

  • Most mechanical variety is concentrated in free spins
  • Public provider text does not state the configured RTP
  • Similar franchise names increase the risk of comparing the wrong edition
